As the business owner of Headspace, in Christchurch, and international judge, Niq knows the demands that face business owners and the importance of advancing your skillset to meet global standards.
With an education background, Niq spent a year on the Establishment Board of Toi Mai Workforce Development Council (WDC), in the TEC led, Review of Vocational Education (RoVE) that will bring transformational change to industry training.
Niq has led a dedicated team who supported the hair industry through the COVID-19 pandemic and a rebrand of the Association to Hair & Barber New Zealand to better represent all of the hair industry.
Niq believes in encouraging, challenging and supporting our industry to be inclusive of ethnicity, gender and social differences to achieve positive and prosperous outcomes, both socially and economically, for our owners, staff, their whanau, and wider communities.
