  • Niq James is Hair & Barber New Zealand's Co-Chair, business owner of Headspace in Christchurch, has a background in education, and is an international judge.

    Niq knows the demands that face business owners and the importance of advancing your skills to meet global standards, and believes in encouraging, challenging and supporting our profession to be inclusive of ethnicity, gender and social differences to achieve positive and prosperous outcomes, both socially and economically, for our owners, staff, their whanau, and wider communities.

    Be taken back to basics for running your business, and receive common sense, practical & achievable advice in easy-to-understand language.

    Attendees will have the opportunity to get answers to all the hard questions! Wages, bonuses, incentives, costing a service, who you need on your team, and you will leave with valuable resources and templates, including the hair industry specific Health & Safety Guide (valued at $299)

    • This workshop is subject to cancellation if a minimum number of participants is not reached. We will notify you as early as possible and provide you will a full refund should cancellation be necessary.
    • Registration fees are non-refundable unless the workshop is cancelled by H&BNZ.
    • All payments for the workshop are non-refundable, however, if you are unable to attend the workshop for any reason please email us at office@hairandbarbernz.org.nz and provide us with the name of a substitute to attend the workshop on your behalf.
