Please include a copy of the following documents to support your application (applications cannot be processed until this information is provided).


A copy of qualification for the person applying for Employer Membership (i.e. copy of New Zealand in Hairdressing (professional stylist), New Zealand Certificate in Commercial Barbering OR Trade Certificate in Hairdressing OR evidence of hairdressing prior to 1968 (Auckland prior to 1974).


The following qualifications are also recognised for the purpose of H&BNZ membership:

Australia: International Certificate Hairdressing (IPSN) Certificate III in Barbering/Hairdressing
South Africa: Occupation Certificate: Hairdresser at NQF Level 4, City & Guild Level 3 Hairdressing Diploma
UK : City & Guild – Level 3 NVQ in Barbering/Hairdressing
