We collect this personal information in order to keep an up to date register of members and advertise all registered member salons & barbershops to the public. The information is stored safely in an internal database which is assessable only to authorised staff members.
Access to your data is only permitted for a limited number of authorised persons as part of the assessment and application process. We have strict policy and technical access controls that prohibit unauthorized access and information will not be shared with any third party, except as mentioned below. Despite regular checks, however, complete protection against all risks is not possible.
We also share the stored information, on a ‘as required’ basis, with H&BNZ sponsor and partner companies in order for them to send and advertise to you directly related benefits and member only information.
Providing sponsor and partner companies with the information we collect from you is optional. Should you not wish for your salon/barbershop information to be released to sponsors and partner companies, please advise the H&BNZ office directly. You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be amended, if required. All new H&BNZ members are ‘opted in’ to receive email marketing communications. You may choose to remove yourself from any email newsletter by following the “unsubscribe” prompt at the bottom of each email.
